What do you think needs to happen in this country concerning student loans? I really think they need to be subsidized more that interest rates need to be lower. It's sad that so many people have to go into debt simply to get educated. I remember reading for the price to keep 1 convict in jail (whether he is a murderer or someone who was caught with drugs) would be enough to send 2 of our citizens through college. If the government would work harder to change it's legal and loan system maybe people wouldn't be going into bankrupty as much and running up huge debts straight out of college..

Wow, that's a scary statistic, but I can believe that it's true. I can't help thinking the US has our priorities backward when it comes to things like careers and educations.

Another ongoing gripe of mine is that a pro athlete gets paid more to catch a football and swatt another guy's butt than a nurse does to hold the hand of a dying patient.

I think people need to take more advantage of grants too. I plan to do that.

Hey friend, you have talked about grants as I see but tell me of some places where we can get the same. Also I doubt how many people do exactly know about the places from where we can get these grants, I have always heard of them being offered but in the practical field have never come across any which actually furnishes these grants. Loans with a high interest rate can be rather intimidating to pay off so the grants always remain as the best choice, but then it has its own problems.
