Fafsa

I was curious as to what amount of money one can expect by filling out the FAFSA? Is it possible to qualify for enough to cover an entire years tuition or just a small amount? Thanks in advance for ANY advice on this!

FAFSA is about applying for Federal Aid. Mostly they've got the Pell grant and a few other grants, and then they suggest that you borrow the rest from federally funded programs or take a work study. I would definitely fill one out, but also be on the lookout for local scholarships. If you know which college you're going to, contact the finacial aid office and ask about any scholarships that might be available to you. Good luck!

You can definitely get some grants from Fafsa. I got a couple. I am paying off my student loans now. I would definitely check into fellowships and scholarships.

FAFSA is not a loan but it is a Free Application For Federal Student Aid. By Filling this form you are showing to the federal organizations that you are serious about going for the student loans and if it is available then the loans will be granted to you. Using this You get the Pell Grants. You can try for the stafford loans and perkins loans. Go to the intitution where for which you want the loan amount and talk to the authorities. If there is a provision of scholorships then sure go for it. It will surely help you.
