FAFSA is not a loan but it is a
Free Application For Federal Student Aid. By Filling this form you are showing to the federal organizations that you are serious about going for the student loans and if it is available then the loans will be granted to you. Using this You get the Pell Grants. You can try for the stafford loans and perkins loans. Go to the intitution where for which you want the loan amount and talk to the authorities. If there is a provision of scholorships then sure go for it. It will surely help you.
