Debit Cards

Does anyone here use their debit card a lot? I've actually started using mine for almost all transactions for the following reasons:

1. It's faster than writing a check

2. It's spending "real" money rather than running up credit I don't have.

3. It keeps me honest about updating my checkbook on a regular basis.

Are there any negatives to using a debit card for purchases?

I prefer to use mine. It keeps me from using my credit cards and I like how convenient it is.

I also prefre use debit card over credit card. I think use of credit card may fall you unnecessary debt. Debit card is also more convienient and safe than credit card.
