Talking Book readers here?

Hi, i am not sure if this is the place to talk about this but i figured i would ask anyway. Does anyone read novels here? If so, who are your favorite authors? Mine is Dean Koontz.

Looks like the right place to me! I'm really into Barbara Taylor Bradford right now and am always a big fan of Dean Koontz. I normally really like books that come out as a series. I'm always so disappointed when I reach the end of a book and feel that there's more of a character's story to be told! What is your favorite Dean Koontz book?

I don't think I've read anything by either of those authors. I've read quite a bit by Terry Brooks, and recently started a series by Donita K. Paul. I've been reading it to my kids. It's called "The Dragon Keeper Chronicles."

Books, books, and more books!

I love to read. In fact, I'd probably rather be reading than doing anything else, including making a living. My favorite authors are way too numerous to count, but let's just say I've got three shelves of unread books and about two shelves of books that I've read but couldn't bear to part with.

My husband is a huge fan of Terry Brooks...owns every book he's written. You might like Robert Jordan which is his all time favorite. His books are written in the same style and there is a long line in the series. HTH

I love to read. I like James Patterson, Nora Roberts, Mary Higgins Clark, and about a hundred others. I have a habit of picking up random books by authors I have never heard of to see if I like them. And usually end up finding another favorite that way

I used to devour the Nancy Drew and Hardy Boys mysteries when I was a kid. I've been thinking about trying to find some so I can give them to my kids. I think they'd like them, as well.

Thanks for the suggestion about Robert Jordan, random. My husband has all of his books, so far, I think. I just haven't picked one up yet. I try not to have too many series going at a time. I get confused so easily. LOL

Is there a book that you've read and when you put it down, wished you hadn't wasted your time? I haven't found any that I've just been TOTALLY disgusted with, but a few of them have been pretty bad.
