Pet insurance?

I actually just got a flier in the mail the other day about pet insurance. It actually runs a little higher than I thought. For basic coverage for emergencies you are looking at about $8 a month per pet. And the premium goes up as you added services. For a full coverage type plan that covers meds, vaccines, and regular visits, you are looking at a good $70 per pet. I have multiple pets so that just isnt practical for me. But I am considering the emergency plan for everyone, because that I can see coming in handy.

I think that pet insurance is a good idea if it isn't over $10.00 per month. I haven't had any pets in a while because my allergies got too bad, but I can definitely see the value. It would be too difficult for me to just give up on a little being who I loved so much.

I had heard the expense could be draining that is why I did not get any.

thank god we insured a dog who developed a braim tumor and severe epilepsy 3 months after taking out the insurance.
