My tax backs always end up being uised for bills and stuff.

Almost made a HUGE mistake on my taxes - I went to HR Block. The lady at the desk was clueless. She basically showed me the computer screen I told her what to enter where. She didn;t speak English very well, which didn;t help the fact that she dodn't know what she was doing. Aty the end of the process she tried to charge me $250! I said forget it, took my stuff, and left. I went home and Efiled on irs.gov for free (my wife and I, filing seperately, each qualified for free filing.) Never again will I go to some tax-in-a-box place to get my money back from the government.

Of course, implementation of the Fair Tax would do away with all that entirely.

You would think that a place like H&R Block would hire someone who knew what they were doing! I can't believe you had the kind of experience. At least you didn't pay them first.

I have never gone to H &R Block or any place like it. My mother and sister both do, and ususally end up spending a fortune. I typically efile my state for free and use taxcut for federal and it works just fine.
