Cash Advance robbery may be linked to two other robberies
Bakersfield, CA -
On Tuesday afternoon, two suspects entered an Allied Cash Advance on the 4100 block of Chester Avenue and demanded money.
According to Bakersfield police, they were given an undisclosed amount of cash and fled the scene. No customers were in the store at the time. They did not show weapons.
The first suspect was a Hispanic female, aged 18 to 20, 5-foot-5-inches, thin build, long brown hair with blond highlights in a ponytail. She was wearing a red shirt and dark pants.
The other suspect was described as a Hispanic male in his 20s. He was about 5-foot-5-inches, weighing about 140-150 pounds. He wore a black scarf on his head, a black shirt with white writing and dark-colored sweat pants.
Police are investigating whether this crime is related to two other robberies, one from May 12, the other May 13, where similar businesses were robbed.
