Can I suggest that before you go and get credit counseling that you check with the Better Business Bureau to see if the credit counseling service has any complaints against them? I would hate for you to go to get credit counseling, and then get scammed instead.
This is a good idea. I see more and places both online and in advertisements
elsewhere that always make me wonder if it's a scam or not. I usually don't
trust things like this without checking them out first.
