All great advice Stella...the small things really do add up! I adhere to saving all of my change and it does make a difference. I also picked up a part-time job, just a few hours a week, to supplement our savings. I sleep better at night knowing there are a few extra dollars in the bank!
I've actually started doing a bunch of online writing for sites like Associated Content. I cover very specific things, but get press releases for tons of things I have no use for. A quick re-write and a bit of an add on and I pick up a few extra bucks that way. I let it pile up in my PayPal account and boom, I withdraw a tidy amount. Pays a few bills.
